Kolkata: TMC MP Nusrat Jahan celebrated Durga Puja festival with her husband Nikhil Jain on Sunday as they visited a popular pandal in south Kolkata to worship the goddess.

 

Nusrat shared an image with her husband on social media.

She captioned it as: "Ashthami te #suruchisangha with beloved hubby nikhiljain09 and dada #aroopbiswas #durgapuja #truebong #secularbengal."

A video is currently going viral on the social media where Nusrat's husband could be seen playing the Dhal while she is dancing to the beats of the musical instrument which is connected with Bengali festival celebrations.

Nusrat married Hindu businessman Nikhil this year.

She also made her political debut in 2019 by winning the Lok Sabha polls.

Nusrat is a popular Bengali actress.
