Binodini wrap up: Rukmini Maitra pens heartfelt note for Ram Kamal Mukherjee
Kolkata/IBNS: Playing the titular role in filmmaker Ram Kamal Mukherjee's upcoming Bengali film Binodini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan has undoubtedly remained one of the most cherished experiences of Tollywood actor Rukmini Maitra.
As she wrapped up her shooting for the film, Rukmini took to social media to share a long post for Ram Kamal whose film is based on Binodini Dasi, a legendary theatre artist from Bengal from the 19th century.
Rukmini, who plays Binodini in the film, penned a heartfelt note which reads, "My Dear Darling Ram.. As you leave the city today, remember you also are leaving an everlasting impression behind.
"We've laughed, we've cried, we've celebrated, we've been together in the grind.. And let's not forget those perpetually muted #bts.. Well, never mind! I Love You and Thank You Ram once again for the faith & for making Our Dream Come True!"
Commenting on Rukmini's post, Ram Kamal said, "Speechless!! You made this journey special with your warmth, will, and wit. You transformed yourself from Rukmini to Binodiini with grace. I tried my best to do justice to your hardwork, passion and dedication. We worked like maniacs, odd hours and crazy schedule. But, I am glad we pushed ourselves to make this happen."
"You will always remain my Binodiini forever," he added.
Produced by Prateek Chakraborty from Pramod Films and Dev Adhikari from Dev Entertainment Ventures in association with Assorted Motion Pictures, the film features Rahul Bose, Kaushik Ganguly, Mir and Om Sahani in pivotal roles.
