Team Fatafati celebrates film's 25-day run in box office

Kolkata/IBNS: Lead actors and filmmaker Aritra Mukherjee celebrated the 25-day run of Bengali film Fatafati at a city mall here on Monday.

Lead actors Ritabhari Chakraborty, Abir Chatterjee and Swastika Dutta joined the celebration of the film, which deals with the issue of body shaming.

Speaking to IBNS on the success of the film, Ritabhari said, "I am extremely happy and excited because I gave my 100 percent to make this film. My biggest achievement is that the audience is liking the film as well as appreciating my performance."

The story revolves around Phullora Bhaduri (played  by Ritabhari), a tailor from the suburbs with a gifted sense of designing, who is ridiculed for being on the heavier side.

Abir shares, "I would like to thank the audience who have made the film a success."

"I can't describe the feeling. It is just the beginning. The film will have a long run in the box office," said Swastika.

Produced by Windows and presented by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Fatafati is Aritra's third film after Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti and Baba Baby O....

The film was released on the big screens on May 12.
