Makers drop trailer of Mainak Bhaumik's 'Cheeni 2'

Kolkata/IBNS: The trailer of 'Cheeni 2', which offers a glimpse into the world of four women from diverse backgrounds, was released by the makers on Wednesday.

Directed by the talented Mainak Bhaumik, 'Cheeni 2' boasts on a cast comprising Madhumita, Aparajita Adhya, Lily Chakraborty, Anirban Chakraborty, Soumya Mukherjee, and Pinky Banerjee.

Building upon the success of the first instalment, which showcased a quirky drama revolving around a modern working woman and her eccentric mother, this new film endeavours to surpass expectations by delivering an even more captivating storyline, delving into the lives of two women from different walks of life.

Speaking at the release of the trailer, Mainak said, "The trailer offers a glimpse into the distinct personalities of Misti (Aparajita Adhya) and Cheeni (Madhumita) and their intertwined journeys.

"We hope that audiences will be entertained and emotionally moved by their journey."

The trailer provides glimpses of the ups and downs in the personal lives of Misti and Cheeni, showcasing their distinct personalities and lifestyles.

The talented cast skilfully depicts the intricacies of their complex relationship, taking audiences on an emotional ride.

'Cheeni 2', which is produced by SVF, will be released on big screens on August 11.
