'I need to sing to recharge myself': Babul Supriyo launching his Durga puja music video 'Na Na Bhulini'
Kolkata/IBNS: After a gap of six years, singer-actor-politician Babul Supriyo launched his own music video- titled 'Na Na Bhulini'- weeks ahead of the Durga Puja.
Along with Supriyo, the music video features Anindya Chatterjee, Lahoma Bhattacharya, singer Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury.
The music video, which was shot at Scottish Church College among various other locations in the city, brings a feeling of nostalgia and college days.
Speaking about doing a music video even being busy in politics, Supriyo said, "Didi (Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee) has clearly asked me to both work and sing passionately. Earlier I was not able to manage both in Delhi. But Didi has given me liberty. I always do what I love. I do politics as long as I like.
"Moreover, I am not that apt in politics. I do my office work diligently and spend time with my family at home, sing, play guitar, cook, and play with my pets. I only do those things that I love."

He added, "Politics and songs are two sides of a coin. Both are prepaid. Just like my audience buys a ticket and anticipates a great performance by me, my voters elect me first expecting my good work. In both spheres, I try my best to fulfill all requests.
"I am leaving neither songs nor politics. I need songs to recharge myself."
Supriyo's old friends, singers Anindya and Upal, who appeared in a special scene in the video, were also present at the song launch.
