Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood actress Koel Mallick is returning to big screens as a detective with Arindam Sil's 'Jongole Mitin Mashi'.

The trailer was released by the makers earlier this week.

It promises action packed sequences with Koel as Mitin Mashi trying to solve a case.

'Jongole Mitin Mashi' is the second film of the 'Mitin Mashi' franchise. The first installment was also directed by Sil with Koel in the lead cast.

In an addition to the first installment, 'Jongole Mitin Mashi' will deal with wildlife conservation.

Speaking at the trailer launch, Koel said, "I have been a part of a number of films in my career but 'Jongole Mitin Mashi' will remain special forever because it carries a social message along with entertainment."

Mitin is a popular woman detective created by novelist Suchitra Bhattacharya.

'Jongole Mitin Mashi' is slated to be released during Durga Puja.

The film will have a box office clash with a number of Indian films including three major Bengali ones, Srijit Mukherji's 'Dawshom Awbotar', Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee's 'Raktabeej' and Dev starrer 'Bagha Jatin', which will also get theatrical releases in Puja.
