'Dawshom Awbotaar': 'Baundule Ghuri' song captures chemistry between Anirban Bhattacharya and Jaya Ahsan
Kolkata/IBNS: The onscreen chemistry between Anirban Bhattacharya and Jaya Ahsan has been captured in the 'Baundule Ghuri' song from Srijit Mukherji's upcoming Bengali film 'Dawshom Awbotaar'.
The song, which is composed by Anupam Roy and sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, was unveiled at an exclusive event held at Presidency University, which is also Srijit's Alma Mater.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities from the Bengali film industry, including Srijit, Prosenjit Chatterjee and others.
'Baundule Ghuri' takes centre stage in portraying the onscreen romance between Anirban and Jaya, whose kissing scene has triggered wide responses on social media eversince the trailer was dropped by the makers, Jio Studios and SVF.
Additionally, it offers a poignant glimpse into Prosenjit Chatterjee's illustrious journey in the film industry, evoking a sense of nostalgia that resonates with fans.
'Dawshom Awbotaar' is a double prequel to the cinematic successes of Srijit's previous works, 'Baishe Shrabon' and 'Vinci Da.' It features superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Jisshu U Sengupta and Jaya Ahsan in the lead.
The film is slated to release on October 19 on the occasion of Durga Puja.
