Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood superstar Jeet on Sunday unveiled the teaser of his upcoming sci-fi Bengali film 'Boomerang' on the occasion of Bengali New Year.

The film, which is directed by Sauvik Kundu, co-stars Rukmini Maitra.

The teaser offers a peek into the world of science, technology, artificial intelligence and the inimitable charisma of its leading man, Jeet.

In the teaser, Jeet is seen playing the role of a brilliant scientist who is on a mission for a groundbreaking discovery.

However, as fate would have it, his invention takes on a life of its own, setting off a chain of uproarious and endearing escapades.

In the teaser, Rukmini is also seen as a robot. Her portrayal of a robot navigating the complexities of human interaction promises to be a highlight of 'Boomerang'.

Apart from Jeet and Rukmini, who will debut as an onscreen pair with the film, 'Boomerang' features Saurav Das, Debchandrima Singha Roy, Kharaj Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta in distinct roles.

The film is produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani, and Amit Jumrani under the banner of Jeetz Filmworks Private Limited.

'Boomerang' is slated to release on June 7.
