Toofan: Chanchal Chowdhury joins Shakib Khan, Mimi Chakraborty, Nabila in stellar cast
Kolkata/IBNS: Bangladeshi actor Chanchal Chowdhury has joined the stellar cast of upcoming Bengali film 'Toofan', which will be directed by Raihan Rafi.
Chanchal Chowdhury will be playing a special role in the film, which features Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan, Tollywood superstar Mimi Chakraborty and Bangladeshi actress Nabila in the lead.
Speaking on his joining in the cast, Chowdhury said, "I'll be playing a special role in 'Toofan'. Raihan Rafi is a talented director, and I have a great personal relationship with Shakib.
"It's exciting to work with them, especially since three big production companies—SVF Bangladesh, Alpha-i, and Chorki—are producing this project. I'm sure something remarkable will come out of it."
Director Raihan Rafi is currently busy with the final preparations for 'Toofan'.
He expressed his pleasure at having Chanchal Chowdhury and Shakib Khan together in the movie, saying, "Chanchal Bhai is a powerhouse actor in our country, and it's an honour to have him join Shakib Bhai in 'Toofan'."
'Toofan' is produced by SVF Bangladesh, Alpha-I, and Chorki.
Mahendra Soni , the Director and Co-founder of SVF, shared, "We've previously collaborated with Chanchal Chowdhury on OTT content, and we've long planned to work with him on the big screen. I'm confident he will elevate 'Toofan' to new heights."
Shahriar Shakil , Managing Director of Alpha-I Studios Ltd., commented, "Shakib Khan's role in 'Toofan' will showcase him in a completely different light, and we needed a strong actor like Chanchal Bhai to do justice to the character. His involvement will undoubtedly enhance the film."
