Kolkata, June 14 (IBNS): Tollywood director Premasish Dey's debut film 'Mon Churi' starring Tollywood actors Saswata Chatterjee, Biswanath Basu, Konineeca Banerjee and Damini Basu is being shot in Kolkata.
“The film is very funny. Those who want to laugh they would definitely come and watch the film,” Saswata told reporters at a press event recently.

Actress Konineeka said: “It’s a linear film and that’s why it should steal the heart of the audience."

The film based on a social satire.

The story is about two guys- Kartik (Saswata Chatterjee) and Ganesh (Biswanath Basu). While  Kartik is a barbar, Ganesh is a tailor.

They give their utmost effort to win girls' heart but failed. So they go to a "university" where thieves are trained.

The duo become jewel students of the school but there was no course on learning “Mon Churi' (how to steal heart).

But, ultimately they succeeded in doing this and get married to Sundari (Daminee Basu) and Kolabati (Konineeca Banerjee).

“It will be a total entertainment but with a social message. It’s basically a black comedy,” Premashish said.

Makeover of the characters is different in this film because of the script, which is not totally related to our daily life.”  he added.

The music of the film is composed by Raja Narayan Deb while the film is produced by Eastern Entertainment.
