Kolkata/IBNS: The teaser poster of veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Anjan Dutt starrer Bengali film Shreeman VS Shreemati has been unveiled by the makers.

Inspired by India's longest-running divorce case, the film is set to redefine love, sacrifice, and the essence of family bonds.

For the first time, Mithun Chakraborty and Anjan Dutt will share the screen space.

Shreeman VS Shreemati will be directed by Pathikrit Basu, who is known for films like Dabaru, Kacher Manush.

Apart from the two veterans, the cast includes Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Madhumita Sarkar, Anjana Basu and Biswanath Basu.

Speaking to IBNS, Pathikrit said, "The main USP of the film is Mithun Chakraborty and Anjan Dutt, the two heroes of maestro Mrinal Sen, coming together in one frame."

"It is a treat to work with both of them. We all know about the kind of actor Mithun Chakraborty is. I haven't come across too many serious actors like Anjan Dutt," he added.

The film will be released on April 10, 2025 on the occasion of Poila Boishakh or Bengali New Year.
