Music of Raaj Mukherjee's upcoming comic drama Boudi.Com released

Kolkata, June 19 (IBNS): The team of 'Boudi.Com', a multi-starrer romantic-comedy directed by Raaj Mukherjee, launched the music of the film on Thursday evening at the Princeton Club here.

The entire cast of the film including Tollywood actors Rachana Banerjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Mainak Mukherjee and Samrat Mukherjee along with debutant co-actors Malobika Mukherjee and Vickey, producer Pawan Kanodia and music director Subhayu were present at the launch.

Produced by AVA Film Productions Pvt. Ltd, the film is an adaptation of the popular stage play ‘Boudir Biye’.

‘Boudi.Com’ which is hitting theatres on  June 26, revolves around five brothers- played by Saswata Chatterjee, Samrat Mukherjee, Mainak Mukherjee and two new-comers Vickey and Om- and their ‘boudi’, Saswata’s wife, Rachana Banerjee.

The various music videos and a short show reel of the film were shown the audience at the beginning of the launch, after which the director shared a few words about the film.

"Even if ‘Boudi.Com’ is an out and out comedy film, it carries a social message – the importance of a female’s contribution to society,” said Raaj Mukherjee.

Saswata Chatterjee who plays the older brother of the family, said, “Boudi.Com has the right doses of humour, music and action.”

The film has six songs, one of which is the famous Rabindrasangeet ‘Alo Amar Alo’. The remaining sound tracks are written by Raaj Mukherjee himself and composed by Subhayu.

Sujoy Bhowmik, Brishtilekha Nandini and Irene, among others, have lent their voices for the music of the film.
