Kolkata, Sep 21 (IBNS) Still looking gorgeous at the prime of her acting career, Tollywood queen Rituparna Sengupta says modern girls should not be fussy about food to stay fit and in shape.

"It is of no use if you avoid certain kind of food. Eat everything, don't deprive yourself of the pleasure of sampling all types of delicacies, But yes follow a diet regimen....i.e you have to eat proportionately. But eat everything," Rituparna tells IBNS at the launch of Studio Strands, the first one in Kolkata of the premier national chain of hair treatment.

"What I mean is the intake of all ingredients in proper measure and of course keeping tab over it," she elaborates.

Rituparna also lays stress on daily exercise and undergoing different types of spa treatment as much as possible on a regular basis for every modern day woman - career girl or homemakers - to look trim and pleasant.

Pointing out that the sense of a woman's beauty has changed over the years, she says, "Today the definition of beauty is a combination of external and internal. Beauty also manifests through attitude."

"If one has the attitude that will elevate her profile and she will be more noticed," the elegant-looking actress says.

Rituparna was roped in by the national chain as being a style icon for the youth, CEO of Studio Strands Naunihal Singh says.

"I think we needed such a facility for long as everybody wants to look fit these days," Rituparna says.

"We have the sight set on for roping in more stars having large fan following to be part of initiatives by Strands where Wellah-trained professionals are at work. The stars will include sporting icons targetting the youth," the CEO says.

"We chose Kolkata after market research and feedback knowing the huge potential here and as the gateway to the east. We will be opening 10 more outlets in Kolkata in coming days," the CEO says.

The local franchise owner Suvranil Paul says the global value-added services by Wellah-trained professionals will be in the range of Rs 300-10,000 and not pinch the pocket.
