I feel greedy when it comes to jewellery: Swastika Mukherjee

Kolkata, Aug 25(IBNS): Popular Bengali actor Swastika Mukherjee, speaking at the Puja Collection jewellery launch by Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers, on Wednesday said that she cannot resist temptation when it comes to jewellery.

Shyam Sundar Jewellers, who began their journey about 50 years ago in Dhaka, Bangladesh branched out to India and opened their first showroom about five years ago in Kolkata.

They followed it up with two more showrooms in the city.

The jewellery house launched its three latest and exclusive Puja Collections namely, 'flight of fancy', 'yellow gold collections', and 'celebrations collections' to cater to women of all age groups.

The collections consist of both light-weight and heavy jewellery.

The lighter range weighing between two and 10 grams are priced from Rs 7,000-15,000 while the heavier jewellery weighing between 30 and 100 grams starting from rupees one lakh.

The diamond jewellery range starts from Rs 10,000. 

Admiring the finely crafted jewellery, actor Swastika Mukherjee said: “Honestly, I feel greedy. I am sure I am no different from any other woman who cannot resist herself after seeing these jewellery.”

“I like heavy jewellery. Lightweight jewellery is convenient to wear and carry but personally I like wearing heavy jewellery,” said the lead actress of the upcoming Bengali film 'Shaheb Bibi Golaam.'

Rupak Saha, Director of Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers said, “The customers would get their desired item from this wide range of jewellery collections. We would definitely be able to meet the requirements during the festive season.”

He further said, “We also have attractive schemes that include gifts and discounts for the buyers.”
