Kolkata, Mar 9 (IBNS): Tollywood actors Sohom Chakraborty and Arunima Ghosh have launched the trailer of their upcoming Bengali film Rong Beronger Kori in Kolkata recently.

The film is centred on changing colours and moral values of money in different parts of the society.

It will depict the various characters of the society and how they deal with money.

Throwing lights on the character played by him in the film, Sohom said: "My character in the film goes through a crisis. The film showcases how the character is struggling due to lack of money. He resides in the remotest part of Bengal."

Arunima said she had a great working relationship with Sohom in the film because of the comfort level between the two.

Arunima had played two different characters in the film.

The actress said it was very challenging to play the role of a tribal woman in the film.

She said: "It was very challenging because I had no idea of the languages spoken by tribal people. I am very happy playing the role. It would be the biggest reward to me if the audience loves the film."

Apart from Sohom and Arunima, Rituparna Sengupta, Chiranjeet, Kharaj Mukherjee, Ritwick Chakraborty will be seen playing distinct roles in the film.

Legendary actress and director Aparna Sen was the creative consultant of the film.

Speaking about the shooting experience with so many reputed actors, director Ranjan Ghosh said: "It was fantastic. Instead of directing them, I had only learnt from them. It was actually a role-reversal."

The film is slated to release on Mar 23.
