Kolkata, Mar 29 (IBNS): As people of Kolkata have started to experience the scorching heat of summer, Tollywood actress Nusrat Jahan has said it is important to wear comfortable clothes in the season.

Nusrat made the comment on the sidelines of the launch of a summer collection by a clothing brand in the city.

While asked about the kind of attires she would prefer in summer, Nusrat said: "People who go out for work know very well how tough it is to wear decorative dresses. In summer, it is important to wear clothes in which we can feel comfortable. All need to wear cotton, linen, easy-breezy, light coloured dresses in summer. It becomes comfortable for all those who are working for 12 hours in offices."

Nusrat, who made her debut in Bengali film industry in 2011 with Shotru, said it is also tough for the actors to wear all kinds of costumes in the shooting.

"Even we actors feel uncomfortable and exhausted when we get some heavy costumes in the course of shooting. Summer means comfortable clothes."

Nusrat has acted in 10 odd film in Tollywood so far.

The actress, who worked as a model before joining the film industry, is still a shopping-maniac.

She said: "I have always been into shopping. Even after joining the film industry, I do shopping. So there is not much difference in life after joining the industry."

Nusrat will be seen in films like Crisscross, Shotru 2, scheduled to release in 2018.
