5 OTT Shows that we are looking forward to in 2023
Mumbai: There are numerous possibilities for binge-watching television series on over-the-top (OTT) platforms, but only a few are worthy of our time. To make things easier for our readers, we've compiled a list of some of the most exciting upcoming events.
Scam 2003: The Telgi story
After dazzling us with Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story and winning a multitude of prizes, the filmmakers will return with Scam 2003: The Telgi Story. Based on the novel Telgi Scam: Reporter ki journal by Sanjay Singh. It stars Gagan Dev Riar as the lead and is directed by Tushar Hiranandani.
Gandhi
Based on the books Gandhi Before India and Gandhi: The Years That Changed the World by renowned historian Ramachandra Guha, this film on the life of MK Gandhi was created. Hansal Mehta directs the film starring Pratik Gandhi.
Mirzapur season 3
Soon, we will be able to witness Guddu Bhaiya and Kaleen Bhaiya combat. Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and others from the original star cast of the first two seasons of this show will return for the third instalment.
Made In Heaven season 2
Set against the backdrop of opulent Indian weddings, Made In Heaven 2 will include further drama in the lives of wedding planners Tara (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan (Arjun Mathur), whose professional lives continue to flourish but their personal ones require extensive repair.
Scoop
Ace director Hansal Mehta is also set to come out with ‘Scoop’ which is based on the life of crime journalist Jagruti Pathak. The series will be produced by Matchbox studios and will be released on Netflix. Scoop is created by Mehta and Mrunmayee Lagoo Waikul, known for co-writing Thappad and is inspired by Jigna Vora’s biographical book Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison.
