Acclaimed directors rave about Anurag Kashyap's Ugly

Mumbai, Dec 27 (IBNS): Anurag Kashyap's Ugly has been receiving accolades from all quarters. The gritty thriller has everyone raving about it.
Apart from the B-Town actors, Anurag is also receiving praises from his fellow directors.
 
Echoing their views , Zoya Akhtar said, “He holds up a mirror and what we see there is a violent, greedy world. It's a cruel thriller that keeps you riveted till the end."
 
"I think Anurag Kashyap is one of the very few who has stayed true to what he started out as. Wait for `Ugly`. It`s terrific!"  tweeted Sudhir Mishra. The director also called Anurag to be his inspiration.
 
Dibakar Banerjee stated, “The film shows the angry urban India with unflinching candour and energy .“
 
Vikramaditya Motwane, and  Kashyap , who have been working together for over a decade now, said, “I think it's his best film since BlackFriday. It's taut, dark, funny and real.“
 
Acclaimed film director Vishal Bharadwaj had all the praise for the filmmaker and feels it to be the best work of Anurag, who is one of his favorite filmmakers.
 
Even though they may be his contemporaries in some way, these directors are totally impressed with Anurag’s work and have been discussing the film with everyone they meet.
 
Anurag Kashyap is very overwhelmed to receive so much appreciation from his fellow mates.
