Amitabh Bachchan turns nostalgic as Barsaat Ki Ek Raat completes 37 years of release

Mumbai, Feb 19 (IBNS): Actor Amitabh Bachchan on Monday turned nostalgic as his movie Barsaat Ki Ek Raat turned 37 years.

The Bengali version of the movie was titled Anusandhan.

Big B tweeted: "T 2620 - 'Barsaat Ki Ek Raat' 37 years ; Bengali version, "Anusandhan" top grossing Bengali movie .. 1981 4 Super Blockbuster's Naseeb, Lawaaris, Yaraana, KaaliaAlso.. Silsila in 1981.. a cult film now .. So many blockbusters in ONE year .. !! Those were the days !!."

The movie was a 1981 Bollywood film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Raakhee, Amjad Khan and Utpal Dutt.

It was directed by Shakti Samanta.
