Anurag Kashyap makes 'Ugly' impact on audience

After being showcased at various film festivals where it was loved and appreciated, ‘Ugly’ released in India last Friday.
Various well known faces from the industry have watched the film including actor Ranbir Kapoor, who complimented the film and said, “Ugly is Anurag at his best. It is an extremely gripping and poignant film.”
Actress Anushka Sharma also watched the film recently and commented, “A captivating story, emotional and thrilling!”
Joining them was director Zoya Akhtar who praised the film saying, “A cruel thriller that keeps you riveted, till the bitter end”.
