Ayushmann Khurrana enrolls for online course on Indian history amid lockdown
Mumbai/IBNS: Like in reel life, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana in real life too preferred to be different from his contemporaries during the lockdown days by investing his time in learning about the Indian history.
Khurrana, who plays diverse roles onscreen, has reportedly enrolled for an online course on Indian history.
The news has been confirmed by the actor himself.
Khurrana said as quoted by Zee News, "I have always looked to better myself because I believe that we are blessed to learn and evolve for as long as we live. I’m a seeker of knowledge, have always been!”
Speaking about his love for the Indian history, the actor said, "I have always loved Indian history and have been keen to know more about it. We have a fascinating history - it’s rich, it’s dipped in culture and it’s so diverse. I do have some time to spare currently and I want to learn more about our past.”
Khurrana, an actor-singer-television host, has been a part of a series of successful Hindi films since 2017.
He rose to prominence with films Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
Khurrana then cemented his place in Bollywood with Badhaai Ho, Dream Girl, Bala, Andhadhun, Article 15 and the latest hit Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
The actor will next feature in Gulabo Sitabo which also stars acting legend Amitabh Bachchan.
