B-town stars to attend Festival of Globe-Silicon Valley& San Francisco Movie Fest
Monday, Aug 7 (IBNS): As preparations are underway for the Festival of Globe-Silicon Valley (FOGSV) & San Francisco Movie Fest from Friday to Aug 16, the festival committee has announced that this year's edition is slated to be a star-studded event.
International stars Jackie Chan, Martin Sheen, Jane Fonda, Kat Kramer and Indian actors Neha Dhupia, Deepti Naval, Richa Chadha, Guneet Monga, Gulshan Grover, Om Puri as well Bappi Lahiri will attend the action-packed festival.
With some the most eminent film personalities from across the globe; FOGSV will include screenings of 50 films, Hollywood and Bollywood Premier Night, Grand Awards Night and a unique India Day Parade of the Bay Area.
Through the ten days, the actors will participate at various programs and also receive honors for their contribution to Cinema. Actor and Indian Ambassador of FOGSV, Prashantt Guptha, will co-host the prestigious Grand Awards Night.
Under the administration of The Federation of Indian Association and Romesh Japra, FOGSV has grown from a three day event that began last year, to a ten day long festival.
This year the festival will boast of a bigger assortment of films, organize workshops, panel discussions, government conclaves, cultural events, fashion extravaganzas, ethnic music & dance evenings and more.
The FOGSV is designed to embrace and celebrate the culture and films of Indian, Latino, Chinese, and Far East Communities. Independent movie producers and actors from across the globe will descend to the technology capital along with NRIs from the IT and medical communities, HNIs, venture capitalists and a lot more.
