Bhumika Chawla’s poised performance in Operation Romeo will surprise you

Mumbai: Actress Bhumika Chawla needs no introduction.  After working in films like Tere Naam, Run, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa, Family, Silsilay, Gandhi My Father she has also cemented her position in the South film industry.

Now the beautiful actress is back with a Hindi film this week with noted producer-director Neeraj Pandey - Operation Romeo.

The film also stars Sharad Kelkar, Sidhant Gupta, Vedika Pinto and Kishor Kadam.

Bhumika has played the wife of Sharad Kelkar in the film. Operation Romeo is about the night when Aditya Sharma and Neha Kasliwal (Sidhanth Gupta and Vedika Pinto) are caught on their date night by two men – Mangesh and Kiran (Sharad Kelkar and Kishor Kadam) posing as powerful police officers.

Bhumika has always been known for her subtle acting and this film is not an exception.

Her scene opens at a departmental store where she works at the cash counter.

It's good to watch Bhumika Chawla on celluloid after a long time. Whether it was her Maharashtrian getup in the film or her Marathi dialect Bhumika has been perfect in every frame.

And specially the pre-climax scene where Bhumika and Sidhant have few interesting scenes and the duo have nicely sealed the scenes. And then there are scenes between Sharad Kelkar and Bhumika in which the latter has a lot of facial expressions to complete the scene.

Almost every review has a mention of her subtle yet powerful performance in the film.

Bhumika has two upcoming films in Telugu. One is called Butterfly, and the other one’s final title is not yet decided. It is with Vyjayanthi Movies. Then there is a Tamil film which will be released in June.
