Bipasha happy with Jennifer like role in Creature 3D
Kolkata, Sept 18 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu is happy having played a role in Creature 3D where she essayed a role that is similar to Jennifer Lopez in Anaconda as she was all praise about the special effects creation of the creature in the film without any foreign assistance.
It is a result of the indigenous effort put in by the Indian technicians, she said at the promotion of the film in her hometown Kolkata recently.
Creature 3D is billed by the makers as India’s first creature feature. Bipasha after giving big success with movies like “Raaz” and “Raaz 3” with Bollywood director Vikram Bhatt, is now seen on his thriller as a girl battling against the beast. The film also stars newcomer Imran Abbas (Pakistani actor) as the lead opposite.
"The film is a mixture of Jurassic Park and Anaconda. The making of the entire creature in the movie was amazing," said Bipasha.
The actress also said that "the basic plot is to run and save yourself from the beast."

"We had to meet end number of challenges. Even to imagine what kind of creature it would be. How he would move? Everything was in Vikram‘s (Bhatt) mind. All we had to do is to imagine. I always dreamt of playing a character like that of Jennefer Lopez in the film ‘Anaconda’ and my wish has been fulfilled.”
Basu said, “We had to root the creature to somewhere. So we had rooted it with the Hindu mythology where the creature is Bhramha Rakshasa. People who after death cannot go to heaven or hell are stuck in their bodies and that’s the creature in Creature 3D.”
Talking on the creature feature at the west and when asked for a comparison, the actress said: “I am not here to compare the movie to the west. But people always say west does better because audience’s view and sensibility towards movie are different and unpredictable. As far as my creature is concerned, yes, I can say that the creature in isolation can be compared with the west.”
