Meanwhile, Deepika turned 33 on Saturday and launched her own website- http://www.deepikapadukone.com- on the occasion of her birthday.
The actress, who has recently tied her nuptial knot with actor Ranveer, was last seen on silver screen in early 2017.
Deepika has been absent from films since the release of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat. However, she is set to begin her shooting for Meghna Gulzar's next film Chhapaak, which stars actor Vikrant Massey.
The film will bring out Deepika's first collaboration with Meghna, whose Hindi film Raazi received critical acclaims in 2018.
In Chhapaak, Deepika will play the real life character of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
After other Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra, Deepika has also turned a producer with Chhapaak.
