In India, subscribers to the HBO Premium channels - HBO Hits and HBO Defined can watch these outstanding HBO Original series 100 percent Ad-Free and in true HD quality and Dolby Surround sound which will make it an unparalleled TV viewing experience.

The season five premiere of the much awaited Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning HBO Original series Game of Thrones  garnered a whopping 24 nominations that comprised Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Peter Dinklage), 2 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey), Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series (Diana Rigg), 2 for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (David Nutter, Jeremy Podeswa) and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series (David Benioff and D.B. Recently, season five of Game of Thrones debuted in India on Apr 13 with ten episodes airing on subsequent Mondays simultaneously with the U.S. airing, exclusively on HBO Defined and was a huge success amongst the Indian audiences.

The fact that “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst” managed to win itself 6 nominations, just adds to the nomination extravaganza for this year’s Emmy.

The Jinx is a HBO miniseries documentary that examines the complicated life of reclusive real estate icon, Robert Durst, the key suspect in a series of unsolved crimes. The series investigates the unsolved 1982 disappearance of Durst's wife Kathie, the 2000 execution-style killing of writer Susan Berman, and the 2001 death and dismemberment of Durst's neighbor Morris Black in Galveston, Texas.

Directed and produced by Andrew Jarecki  and produced and shot by Marc Smerling , it documents long-buried information discovered during their seven-year investigation of a series of unsolved crimes.

The Jinx has received widespread critical acclaim and has developed somewhat of a cult following.

Other shows that received nominations were “Olive Kitteridge” (13 nominations), “Bessie” (12 nominations and CINEMAX’s “The Knick” (5 nominations), amongst others.
