John Abraham launches music of Tollywood film Open Tee Bioscope

Kolkata, Dec 12 (IBNS) Bollywood actor John Abraham was the star attraction at the launch of popular Bangla band singer-composer turned filmmaker Anindya Chattopadhyay's directorial debut Open Tee Bioscope.
The event was also graced by filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, who directed John in Madras Cafe.
 
The film's cast includes a young actor like Riddhi Sen, who has got good reviews for his role in Children of War, besides Kaushik Sen (who happens to be father of Riddhi in real life), Paran Bandopadhyay, Rajatava Dutta, Sudipta Chakraborty,  Sohini Sarkar, Biswanath Basu and Aparajita Auddy.
 
The story revolves around comedy, drama and emotion of the middle class community of Kolkata. A film is about flying kites, first puff, first love and football and also a tale of a boy who has not seen his father ever since he was a child and how he experiences everything for the first time stepping in his adulthood.
 
Phoara is the name of that boy (played by Riddhi Sen) and he is the protagonist of the film.
 
“The film is more like a musical journey and a story close to my heart as Anindyo (Chatterjee) has well brought out the essence of North Kolkata and revived the memories of my childhood," said Shoojit Sircar.
 
Music composer Shantanu Moitra has composed a song crooned by Anupam Roy.
 
Talking about his bonding with Shoojit Sircar, actor John Abraham said, “I am extremely attached to Shoojit. He is my favorite director. I am glad to be in the occasion today and I have best wishes for the film”.
