Karan Johar wants to watch 'Waiting'

Mumbai, May 30 (IBNS): Filmmaker Karan Johar on Monday said he wants to watch Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin's latest released movie 'Waiting'.

"Waiting to see #waiting!!! I hear Naseer Saab and @kalkikanmani are phenomenal!! I believe its reflective and connective slice of life," Johar tweeted.

The movie Waiting is not your ordinary run around the mill story and showcases some stellar performances by the cast. Not only the story line but the music of the movie too will stir up hidden emotions in you.

Directed by Anu Menon and produced by Ishka Films and Drishyam Films, ‘Waiting’ released on May 27.

Besides Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin, the film that premiered at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), also features Rajat Kapoor, Arjun Mathur and marks the debut of noted filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s wife, actor Suhasini Maniratnam in Hindi cinema. The film was also screened at the closing gala of the London Asian Film Festival and Menon won the Best Director Award at the event.
