'Maddest teacher alive', Alia Bhatt calls father Mahesh Bhatt on his birthday

Mumbai, Sep 20 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, has posted a heart-touching message on social media as her father Mahesh Bhatt turned 69 on Wednesday.

The actress called her father "maddest teacher alive" in the post which she shared on Instagram.

The post, shared by Alia, definitely reflects the kind of strong bonding of the father-daughter duo as the Highway actress also referred to Mahesh as a "friend".

Alia took to Instagram to post an image of her father with a caption that reads: "My sunshine my rain, my old man who's taught me of love AND pain! The maddest teacher alive. Happy birthday my friend! May we be father daughter in all the lifetimes the universe has to offer."

Mahesh Bhatt is an Indian director, producer and screenwriter, who is credited for number of successful Bollywood films.

His last directorial film Raaz: Reboot was released in 2016.
