Madhur Bhandarkar receives award in Pakistan
Mumbai, Dec 18 (IBNS): Indian filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has been awarded Rafi Peer International Memorial Movies Award in Pakistan for raising women issues in his movies.
"Feeling honoured to receive the #rafipeer Memorial Award from veteran #Pakistani actress Zeeba ji. #lahore," Bhandarkar tweeted.
Bhandarkar also met students in Lahore.
"Wonderful moments with students who are avid admirers of our #IndianCinema in #Lahore #Pakistan," he said.
Bhandarkar is known for making films like 'Fashion', 'Page 3' and 'Chandni Bar'.
