Madonna, Dua Lipa mourn death of Swedish DJ Avicii

London/Los Angeles, Apr 21 (IBNS): Singers Madonna and Dua Lipa have expressed sadness over the demise of Swedish DJ Avicii, who died at an age of just 28.

Dua Lipa, the English singer, tweeted, "Such sad news to hear about Avicii passing. Too young and way too soon. My condolences go out to his family, friends and fans x"

Sharing a picture with Avicii, Madonna said in a tweet, "So Sad....... So Tragic. Good Bye Dear Sweet Tim. Gone too Soon."

Avicii was a Swedish musician, DJ, remixer and record producer.

Some of his most famous songs are "I Could Be the One" with Nicky Romero, "Wake Me Up", "You Make Me", "X You", "Hey Brother", "Addicted to You", "The Days", "The Nights", "Levels", "Waiting for Love", "Without You" and "Lonely Together".

The cause of his death is not known.
