Starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Padmaavat’ is all set for release on Jan 25.

The movie has been hit by controversies with several fringe groups opposing its release.

Violent protests have been reported from several states in India over the scheduled release of the movie.

Protests had earlier made makers to defer the release of the movie from Dec 1.

The movie was earlier titled Padmavati.
