New Delhi, Oct 17 (IBNS): Popular singer and the magical voice behind several Bollywood chartbusters, Mohit Chauhan is all set to release his song 'Aisee Waisee Dosti Nahi, yeh Number One yaari Hai".

The song is from the film "#No1Yaari", billed as a pleasant and nostalgic reminder about close buddies who have lived through the highs and lows in life standing by and supporting each other.

Featuring television actor Rahul Ram, Paranjay Jaiswal and Amol Parashar. #No1Yaari will be releasing just before Diwali.

According to Mohit Chauhan, “Aisee Waisi dosti nahin is a reminder and a tribute to my own buddies who have been a part of my journey and who have been instrumental in creating fond memories of our brotherhood. The film has sequences that remind me of our band and the fun that we had creating music together. When you are with your buddies, you have your own words and meanings. It is like a secret code that we may be the only ones laughing at. #No1Yaari brings these familiar secret codes to life.”

Rajeev Bhalla has given the music for the song and Sonal Dabral has written the heartwarming lyrics.

Deep male bonding is an eternally popular subject with Bollywood filmmakers. #No1 Yaari captures the soul and essence of having a close group of friends who are a part of your journey through life. It weaves an interesting story of growing up, fun and mischievous moments and the strong bond shared by that inner circle of friends especially in today’s tumultuous times.

According to Anupam Mishra, “The idea was to evoke fond memories of friendship through the journey of the 3 friends. The attempt was to make the viewers reminisce about their own friends and those special moments in life they have shared together. The film subtly nudges you to remember the last time you spoke to your friend? How many years has it been since you hugged your best friend? To sum it up, the film is a montage of bitter sweet vignettes of friendship that all of us have experienced at some point in our lives.”

Executive Creative Director & lyricist for ‘#No1 Yaari’, Sonal Dabral says, “There are several songs on friendship but ‘#No1 Yaari’ is different. We wanted to capture the entire essence of the deep bond of friendship, the feeling of closeness and when one hums this lyrics they are instantly thinking of those special ones while having a smile on their face!. Not only are the wordings simple but also soulful. Mohit has done a great rendition and is sure to transport you to memories of fondness, brotherhood and close ones!”

#No1Yaari was shot in picturesque locales in Shimla. The film will also be released in other Indian languages including Telugu and Kannada.
