M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story has been shot in real life locations!
Being a biopic based on the cricket sensation, Dhoni the makers were keen to reveal facts about him.
They wanted to make the movie as realistic hence; they have even shot at real locations as well.
As a part of films recce Neeraj was taken on a tour of Captain Cool’s former `addas', introduced to the food he liked, the film maker also shot the movie in MS Dhoni’s real home where his parents and brother Narendra live currently.
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has been shot wherever Captain Cool has spent moments of his life. Neeraj Pandey who is staying true to the crux of biopic has incorporated maximum real life locations that were important in the Indian skipper’s life journey.
Director Neeraj Pandey has also shot the movie house where Dhoni used to stay in Ranchi and the family home where his parents and brother Narendra live.
The movie was also shot at the station where he was Ticket Checker. In addition to Neeraj has also filmed the movie at the late railway manager's home and also the quarters Dhoni shared with three-four roommates.
A portion of the film where Dhoni’s educational journey has been shot is DAV public school Ranchi where Dhoni used to study.
The biopic is extensively shot in real locations where he has spent time, this was done because the director wanted to keep the movie as real as possible.
The recently released poster of the movie was well received by fans. The films trailer, which released recently has broken the internet and has gone ahead to become the most loved trailer of the year with a whooping 1.6 crores and counting!
Helmed by ace director Neeraj Pandey, produced by Arun Pandey and Fox Star studios, M.S Dhoni - The Untold Story is all set to release on Sept 30, 2016.
