Prabhas fever helps Saaho earn Rs. 24 crore on opening day

Mumbai, Aug 31 (IBNS): With guns blazing, Saaho, riding on Prabhas' stardom following his exiciting national emergance in Baahubali, earned a massive Rs. 24 crore at the Box Office on the opening day.

"#Saaho has a superb Day 1... Prabhas’ superstardom post #Baahubali2 + hype surrounding the biggie + excellent advance bookings ensured fantastic numbers... Day 2 and 3 biz crucial to pack a solid weekend total... Fri ₹ 24.40 cr Nett BOC. India biz. #Hindi version," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

With the weekend in betweem, Saaho is expected to make it big at the Box Office.

Saaho emerged as the third highest opening day grosser in Bollywood this year.

It is behind Salman Khan's Bharat (with Rs. 42 crore) and Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal (with Rs. 29 crore).

The movie is featuring Prahbas and Shraddha Kapoor in thje lead roles.

Saaho remained the first major release of Prabhas since his hugely successful Baahubali series created waves of success in the country.

Prabhas touched national stardom with its success.
