Raazi moving closer to Rs. 40 crore mark

Mumbai, May 15 (IBNS): Actress Alia Bhatt's latest released movie Raazi is slowly inching towards touching Rs. 40 crore mark at the Indian Box Office.

The movie has earned Rs. 39.24 crores at the Box Office till Monday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted on Tuesday: "#Raazi shows EXCELLENT HOLD on Mon... Decline on Mon [vis-à-vis Fri] is a mere 16.33% - SUPERB... The film has found pan-India acceptance, which is a rarity these days... Fri 7.53 cr, Sat 11.30 cr, Sun 14.11 cr, Mon 6.30 cr. Total: ₹ 39.24 cr. India biz."

The movie released on Friday.

The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Alia Bhatt, Rajit Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Soni Razdan, Jaideep Ahlawat among others.

This is also the first collaboration between real life mother daughter Alia and Soni.

The film has generally opened to positive reviews and has a point of 8 stars out of 10 on the IMDB website.
