Kolkata/IBNS: A new poster of director duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee's upcoming Bengali film Aamar Boss was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday.

Unveiled on Wednesday, the poster showcases the iconic Rakhee Gulzar sharing a playful moment with Shiboprosad Mukherjee, as she teasingly pulls his ear.

The image offers a preview of the film’s delightful yet emotionally powerful storyline.

Directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Aamar Boss delves into the emotional and humorous complexities of the relationship between a mother and her son.

The newly revealed poster perfectly encapsulates this playful bond, hinting at what promises to be a heartwarming cinematic journey.

In the poster, Rakhee Gulzar, celebrated for her unforgettable roles in Indian cinema, shares a moment of affectionate fun, pulling the ear of Shiboprosad Mukherjee, who plays her son in the film.

This striking image captures the loving yet mischievous dynamic often found in mother-child relationships. The expressions on both actors' faces convey warmth, tenderness, and a sense of familial ease that will resonate deeply with audiences.

Shiboprosad Mukherjee reflected on the poster's significance, saying, "Aamar Boss is a deeply emotional story about the bond between a mother and her son. We wanted to highlight both the lighthearted and heartfelt sides of this relationship. The poster perfectly captures the playful and loving connection we aim to portray.

"Rakhee Di even playfully pulled my ear during the IFFI stage event, as though we were reenacting the very moment that will unfold on screen."

"With the film’s selection for the 55th IFFI Indian Panorama, its nomination for the UNESCO Gandhi Medal, and its inclusion in the Chennai International Film Festival by NFDC, we’ve seen incredible milestones that showcase the depth of this story. I hope the audience feels the warmth of this unique bond."

The film will hit the theatres on May 9.
