Ranbir-Alia walk away with top honours at Filmfare Awards 2019

Mumbai, Mar 24 (IBNS): It turned out to be a big night for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as the rumoured couple walked away with the top two honours- Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) and Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male)-at the 64th edition of the Filmfare Awards.

While Alia bagged the award for 'Raazi', Ranbir won the accolade for his performance in Sanjay Dutt's biopic 'Sanju.'

The night turned out to be quite victorious for Raazi which won the Best Film and Best Director (Meghna Gulzar) awards.

The Best Actor Critics' Award was shared by Ranveer Singh for 'Padmavaat' and Ayushmann Khurrana for 'AndhaDhun'.

Neena Gupta was adjudged the Best Actress Critics' for playing a middle-aged pregnant mother in 'Badhaai Ho'.
