Ranveer Singh's Simmba touches Rs. 159 crore at BO, roaring internationally as well

Mumbai, Jan 5 (IBNS): Actor Ranveer Singh knows how to pull the crowd towards theatre and this was once again proved by the roaring success of his new movie Simmba.

The movie has already crossed the 150 crore mark.

It has earned Rs. 159 crore at the Box Office so far.

"#Simmba starts Week 2 with a bang... Will cross ₹ 175 cr in Weekend 2 itself... Will make an entry into ₹ 200 cr Club before Week 2 concludes... [Week 2] Fri 9.02 cr. Total: ₹ 159.83 cr. India biz," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Simmba released on Feb 28.

The movie features actor Sara Ali Khan in the lead role.

The movie has also roared at the international Box Office.

"#Simmba crosses $ 9 million in international markets... [Week 2] Fri $ 683k Total: $ 9.091 million [₹ 63.22 cr] #Overseas," Adarsh tweeted separately on Saturday.
