Saif Ali Khan's Baazaar collects Rs. 11.93 cr in three days

Mumbai, Oct 29 (IBNS): Actor Saif Ali Khan-starrer Hindi film Baazaar has collected Rs. 11.93 crore in three days since its release.

The film was released on Oct 26.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted to quote the earning, "#Baazaar witnessed a positive upturn on Day 2 and Day 3... Mumbai circuit is dominating its biz... Weekdays are extremely crucial... Has to maintain the pace for a respectable Week 1 total... Fri 3.07 cr, Sat 4.10 cr, Sun 4.76 cr. Total: ₹ 11.93 cr. India biz."

Baazaar has a plot of money and power set against the backdrop of the stock market.

Apart from Saif, the film stars Radhika Apte, Chitrangda Singh and Rohan Mehra in pivotal roles.

Saif, named as Shakun Kothari, portrayed the character of a Gujarati businessman in the film.

Detailing his character at a promotional event in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat, the 48-year old lead actor said: "He is an investor. If one watches the film, he will find out that he is a very dangerous person who has no interest in the company, employment but only profits.

"He is one type of corporate leader. He is a dangerous person who can pose threats to old families and businesses."

Saif and Radhika earlier together featured in web series Sacred Games.
