Salman Khan lends his support for 'Jaanisaar'

Mumbai, Aug 4 (IBNS): Salman Khan is always known to value his relationships, close friends and show them support, quite vocally.

He recently took to Twitter and urged his fans to watch Muzaffar Ali’s upcoming film, ‘Jaanisaar’. 

 

The actor’s close family friend Beena Kak plays a pivotal role in the film and the actor wanted to show his support for the upcoming venture. 

 

He tweeted a picture from the movie, featuring lead actress Pernia Qureshi and Beena Kak that highlighted the upcoming release, with the message, “Watch bba in Jaanisar”.

‘Jaanisaar’ is a period drama starring Pernia Qureshi and Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas Naqvi in lead roles. 

 

Set 20 years after the first war of Indian independence in 1857, the film essays the love story of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh, and a prince brought up in England. 

 

‘Jaanisaar’ is directed by Muzaffar Ali of cult classic UmraoJaan fame and produced by Meera Ali.The film is set for release on August 7.
