Salman Khan's father apologises for son's raped woman comment
Mumbai, June 21 (IBNS) Salim Khan, father of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan issued an apology on Tuesday for his son's controversial remark in which he compared his hectic shooting schedule for movie ‘Sultan’ with a “raped womanâ€.
“Undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong, the simili, example and the context. The intention was not wrong. Nevertheless I apologise on behalf of his family his fans & his friends," Salim Khan wrote on twitter.
"Forgiveness is to pardon the unpardonable or it is no virtue at all,” the veteran scriptwriter said. .
“To err is human to forgive divine. Today on Intl yoga day lets not run our shops on this mistake,” he added.

Salman Khan's comment triggered a huge controversy and evoked the ire of the Women's Commission, which threatens to summon the actor if he does not apologise.
The actor has been given seven days by the National Commission for Women to apologise.
The Bollywood super star, who was recently interviewed by Spotboye, was quoted as saying, "When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight."
The comment drew flak from the females as they demanded apology from the star for being 'inhuman'.
