Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's bodyguard was stopped by customs officials at the Mumbai airport in the wee hours of Saturday, media reports said.

Ravi Singh, Shah Rukh Khan's bodyguard, was stopped at the airport around 12:50 am on November 12, India Today reported.

The customs officials checked the luggage and found two luxurious watch cases and four other watch covers, among others, the report said.

The bodyguard was stopped over duty payment for the luxury products. He was allowed to go after the customs duty was paid.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and his manager, Pooja Dadlani, who arrived from Dubai at around 12:30 am, had already left the airport.

The actor was in UAE's Sharjah on Friday to receive the Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative Award for his contribution as the International Icon of Cinema and Culture at the Sharjah International Book Fair 2022.

The report said that Shah Rukh Khan and Pooja Dadlani weren't stopped by the customs officials.
