Daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, Sonam made her Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’. The film, however, did not do well at the box office.
The actress, who has always managed to steal glances with her style statements, appeared in films like 'Delhi-6', 'I Hate Luv Storys', 'Aisha' and 'Thank You'.
Sonam bagged praises for her acting skills with her roles in ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.
Her last release was 'Bewakoofiyaan.'
Sonam has her kitty full of upcoming films including 'Mirza Sahibaan', 'Khoobsurat', 'Dolly Ki Doli', 'Come On Pappu' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'.
Ameesha Patel on the other hand made her acting debut in the blockbuster film 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' in 2000.
Ameesha won critical praise for her performance in 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' (2001), which became one of the biggest hits in the history of Hindi cinema.
She also won a Filmfare Special Performance Award for this film.
She then subsequently starred in a number of films, most of which proved unsuccessful at the box office.
However, her performance in the 2006 film 'Ankahee', received critical recognition, and she followed it with a supporting/comic role in the average hit 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.' and also co-starred in the hit 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' (2007).
She was also a part of 'Race 2' cast.
Ameesha's upcoming films include 'Do Lucky', 'Desi Magic', 'Power' and 'Contract'.
