Kolkata, Aug 10 (IBNS): A special screening of Tollywood superstar Jeet's latest Bengali film Panther was organised for defence and security personnel here on Friday.

Director Anshuman Pratyush welcomed the guests and hoped the film would strike a chord with the security personnel.

The film also stars actress Shraddha Das.

Jeet along with Shraddha and other casts of the film were present along with senior police officials. “Holding a tiranga gives me goosebumps,” said Jeet.

Panther is an action thriller and its box office launch is timed to click with the Independence Day. The hero holding a tricolour in the poster is aimed at igniting the patriotic fervour among the audience.

The film features Jeet as a RAW agent who is out on a secret mission with his crack team to foil a terrorist attack. The songs in the film Vande Mataram and item number Marhaba keeps the patriotic and entertainment quotient high.

Jeet has worked with actor Saswata for the first time in the film. Model-turned-actor Abhishek Singh, a member of Jeet’s Panther team, who adeptly fits into his role, is sure to get noticed.
