Mumbai: Actor Mohit Duseja is happy with the response he is getting for the series "Dhappa", a Humgama Original Series which has been produced by Anil V Kumar. He said that he could relate to the character and that's why agreed to do it.

He said, "I completely run on my instincts. When I was halfway through the script, I had already connected to my character, as it’s a version of me, a happy-go-lucky guy who is just full of energy and a complete typical college-going youngster with lots of humour. So this was something I couldn’t let go of."

"Since I started working as an actor, I wanted to connect with the kids and youngsters more. The reason for that is, that I love reliving my college and school days, those were like the 'Best' days of my life, and I feel I have put all my experience into my character which is pretty real, and very close to what I would have loved watching as a youngster," he added.

Sharing his experience of working with Anil, Mohit said, "Working with Anil sir was an amazing experience and I must quote that he is 'the person who is behind the shows I used to watch when I was a kid'. It was a very special feeling, like imagine watching a show when you were 12 and growing up to work with the director who created that show is an achievement and honour for me. You learn so many things and the best was to always stay humble in life no matter what."

The young actor is happy with the response he is getting for the show. He said, "The response is amazing, I feel people liked the way humour is portrayed in it. Moreover, there’s a lot of variety when it comes to the cast and stories as well."
