Wimbledon: Novak reaches third round

London, June 25 (IBNS): Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic fought hard to reach the third round of the Wimbledon men's singles round by beating Radek Stepanek here on Wednesday.

Novak defeated his veteran Czech opponent 6-4, 6-3, 6-7 (5/7), 7-6 (7/5) to face G Simmon in the next round of the tournament.

In another clash,  UK's Andy Murray defeated Slovenian Blaz Rola   6-1, 6-1, 6-0.

China's Li Na beat Austria's Yvonne Meusburger 6-2, 6-2  in her Wimbledon wimen's singles clash here to reach third round.

Victoria Azarenka of Belarus crashed out of the tournament after losing  6-3 3-6 7-5 to Serb Bojana Jovanovski.
