IPL 2019: Delhi Capitals win toss, elect to bowl first

Kolkata, Apr 12 (IBNS): Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens here on Friday.

Delhi made one change to their side from the last match. Keemo Paul came in for Sandeep Lamichhane.

Kolkata mde three changes to their side. Joe Denly, Carlos Brathwaite and Lockie Ferguson came in for Sunil Narine, Harry Gurney and Chris Lynn.

In their previous encounter in this year's IPL, Kolkata were defeated by Delhi in super over.

Kolkata would look to win on Friday particularly after getting decimated by Chennai Super Kings at the men-in-yellow's backyard.

Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly, who is presently the mentor of Delhi team, will also be present at his home ground on Friday.

Kolkata Knight Riders playing XI: Joe Denly, Carlos Brathwaite, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik (c), Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Andre Russell, Kuldeep Yadav, Piyush Chawla, Prasidh Krishna, Lockie Ferguson.

Delhi Capitals playing XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer (c), Rishabh Pant, Colin Ingram, Chris Morris, Keemo Paul, Axar Patel, Rahul Tewatia, Kagiso Rabada, Ishant Sharma.
