Mumbai/Kolkata, Apr 13 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan may have been on the losing side on Friday, but left a heartfelt message for his former warrior Sourav Ganguly.

Wonderful play by @RealShubmanGill & @Russell12A yet again. Losing is ok but today we kind of lacked heart, especially bowling, that’s sad. Only positive out of this game was that our Dada @SGanguly99 was at Eden on the winning side. Congrats @DelhiCapitals" Khan tweeted after his team were defeated by Delhi Capitals, whose adviser is Ganguly.

Riding on Shikhar Dhawan's unbeaten 97, Delhi defeated Kolkata by seven wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday.

Ganguly, who was the skipper of Khan's franchise in the first and third editions of Indian Premier League (IPL), was dropped from Kolkata Knight Riders in 2011.

In 2012, Ganguly-led Pune Warriors India had faced Khan's Kolkata at the same iconic venue. But that time, it was Kolkata which had the last laugh.
