Shanghai, May 22 (Xinhua/UNI) A hat-trick from Oscar and goals from Li Shenglong and Hu Jinghang saw Shanghai SIPG thrash Ulsan Hyundai 5-0 here in AFC Champions League Group H.

SIPG captain Hulk was not in the starting line-up due to injury as youngster Li took full advantage, taking his place and scoring a goal on Tuesday.

However, it was SIPG's star midfielder Oscar who dominated the game. The Brazilian scored the game's opening goal in the seventh minute after good work from Elkeson on the left.

Oscar scored his and SIPG's second before the first half was out with a long shot from the edge of the penalty area.

It was 3-0 in the 67th minute, after Li shot from a tight angle to seal the victory for SIPG.

With their tails up, SIPG continued to pour forward and got their reward in the 75th minute, as Oscar completed his hat-trick after latching onto Elkeson's pass to make it 4-0.

The icing on the cake came in the 87th minute, as Elkeson's shot was parried by the Ulsan goalkeeper, but Hu tucked home the rebound for 5-0.
With their comprehensive win, Shanghai SIPG successfully advanced to the knock-out phase of the 2019 AFC Champions League.
